Batman 3
So i work for Warner Bros. and thats cool because they produce a lot of cool movies, the coolest of course being Batman. The third installment of Christopher Nolan’s Batman franchise has been given an official title The Dark Knight Rises and will not be in 3-D. With studio pressure to make the film 3-D, Nolan was adamant against the idea fearing it would take away from the series overall. Most of the previous actors will be returning to the film including Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, and Gary Oldman but the question on everybody’s mind is who the villain will be? Nolan has denied rumors about Joseph Gordon-Levitt being cast as the Riddler. Giving their expected filming location in New Orleans one can assume Killer Croc may be a potential villain. Nolan has also been rumored to be looking for a female lead, most likely Catwoman. I dont see anyone ever doing a better job at the penguin than Danny Devito so I hope they leave him out of it. Also expect to see easter eggs revealing other facets of the DC universe because in the next fews years we will see a plethora of superhero movies come out of Warner Bros.
The film is expected to hit theaters July 20, 2012.

I'm so excited Nolan opted not to do the 3D thing. As much as I think 3D is cool, I only thought it was cool because not everybody was doing it. Certain types of films warrant 3D, like Avatar, because it's not really a great story but is visually amazing. Batman is just too good a story to be 3D.
ReplyDeleteWicked, Christian Bale as Batman in my opinion is the best actor for the role so far. Thank god they are not making it 3D, the last two film's have been amazing as they are.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it kind of ruins the feel of the series to suddenly change it up.
